Top Ten Breathtaking Hot Tub Views

Longing for a spectacular soak? The world's most breathtaking hot tubs can be found in places you wouldn't necessarily expect: snowy mountains, tucked away in the forest, inside treehouses, or atop cliffs. In anticipation of the days when we can travel again, check out our list of places across the globe where you can enjoy an indulgent spa experience with some stunning views.

Hotel Villa Honegg - Lucerne, Switzerland

Built in 1905, this mansion-turned-hotel features an oversized steam tub in its backyard that overlooks Lake Lucerne. It's a relatively small hotel, housing just 23 rooms, but the views are spectacular.

Elsa’s Kopje - Meru, Kenya

The hot tub at Elsa's Kopje is one of the few tubs in the world where you can get a first-class spa experience while catching a glimpse of hippos, lions, and elephants, all of which live in the Meru National Park.

Skuna Boats - London

Not all of the world's best hot tubs are located in resorts — or on land, for that matter. Introducing Skuna Boats, a company that provides excursions into London's canal waterways in floating hot tubs, which fit up to seven people.

Velassaru Resort - Maldives

Few other hot tubs blend in with the ocean as seamlessly as the hydropool located in the spa of Velassaru Resort, which acts as an infinity pool with breathtaking views of the indian ocean.

Jackson Hole - Wyoming

After tours of the Grand Teton National Park, followed by a 4,000-vertical-foot tram-accessed laps at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, you’re sure to appreciate a long soak in Amangani’s stunning outdoor tub and heated infinity pool.

Hvolsvöllur - Iceland

You can spot the Mount Hekla volcano from the three outdoor riverside hot tubs at Hotel Ranga, located in a pastoral corner of south Iceland. Visit during the northern lights and you can request an aurora alarm to make sure you catch a night sky lit with color, or stargaze from the hotel’s standalone observatory, complete with retractable roof.

The White Tower of Taymouth Castle - Aberfeldy, Perthshire

Feel regal as you relax in a former royal honeymoon hideaway, complete with a hot tub in the very top turrets, a sauna and 8 acres of secluded, private woodland to enjoy. With breathtaking views from the tub, you will certainly feel royal.

Khir Ganga - India

Starting from the village of Barsheni in India’s gorgeous Parvati Valley, it takes about four hours to hike up to these hot springs. But it’s well worth the effort to reach Khir Ganga, especially when you get to immediately bathe in the pools and take in surrounding views of the Himalayas. There are two pools (one for men, one for women) at the springs, as well as a nearby Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva.

Rifugio Scoiattoli - Cortina D’Ampezzo, Italy

Set high atop the ski slopes overlooking Italy's Lagazuoi 5 Torri Giau ski area is the Scoiattoli refuge's "hot barrel" — basically a hot tub constructed out of fir-wood slats. Guests can reserve the hot barrel for about £150, a price that includes a bottle of champagne.
